Ernie and the Automatics
Boston members involved: Barry Goudreau, Sib Hashian Ernie and the Automatics is a blues band fronted by Ernie Boch, Jr, who is founder and CEO of Boch Enterprises, which is a billion dollar automotive business. Ernie is a graduate of Berklee College of Music. Performing with Ernie are Barry Goudreau and Sib Hashian, both former members of Boston. The group is completed with two former RTZ members Tim Archibald and Brian Maes, who also worked with Barry in RTZ. Also in the band is Michael "Tunes" Antunes. The group has released a two song CD The Body Shop Sessions as well as a four-song disc Live at the Reel Blues Festival. They also had two DVDs available to purchase on their website. In 2009, they released their first full album Low Expectations. Ernie and the Automatics disbanded in 2011, however they did release a 5-song EP called Five for the Road in 2012. |
