 The official BOSTON site has posted an update. Some of them have already been posted here, like the new Tom Scholz signature Gibson guitar and the Limelight Music Award, but they share some interesting updates regarding the new album...The album is (almost) done! Tom is wrapping up the latest and final song called Someday, which may end up being the title track for the album. Tom says that "This final song might be the title track for the new BOSTON studio album; it reminds me of the up tempo rockers I wrote for the debut album over 30 years ago." After this song is completed and some tweaks, remixing and mastering, the album should be completed and ready for release by mid-year 2013. For those who have longed for a live BOSTON DVD, Tom plans to start working on that once the studio album is finished. There's also a brief mention of a tour - next year. The site notes that "All of the band members are busy with their own projects. They all had a great time playing live last summer and are looking forward to going out again next year, monster gong and all." You can check out the full post at bandboston.com |
